“The Path To Life Is Laid One Yellow Brick At A Time”
We are celebrating ONE WHOLE YEAR with our favorite brick! This time last year our world looked very different than it ever had before. Our community was facing unprecedented times and we were ready to provide the stability and dependability that it needed! To show our community who we are and what we stand for, we created Bricky!
This last year with Bricky has been so fun! Bricky wrote a book about his favorite place on earth (Yellow Brick Road), hosted an award ceremony, and traveled all around our state with our families!
We want to highlight the impact Bricky has made on our students, teachers, and community so we have put together our top five favorite memories with Bricky this last year!
- Bricky hosed family-fun competitions! Bricky brought on the family nights with the scarecrow and gingerbread house competitions!
- Bricky met all of our students and had a blast getting to know them! He inspired creativity and two of our core values: Fun and Positivity!
- Bricky traveled all over Minnesota last summer! Our parents sent us pictures of Bricky using the hashtag #WheresBricky! If you want your own cut-out of Bricky to take with you this summer make sure to ask your Director!
- Bricky hosted an awards ceremony at one of our professional development days! Our teachers earned Golden Bricky awards with certificates and golden pins for their lanyards!
1: Bricky wrote a book to say Goodnight to all of his friends at YBR! You can watch our CEO, Jessica Johnsen, read the first-ever copy of Goodnight Yellow Brick Road, here:
